To cut through the sales-driven nature of the festive season. Tasmanian Walking Company and the Tas Walking Co Foundation have put together a celebration of good news stories from Tas Walking Co Foundation with our "Twelve Days of Conservation Christmas." campaign.

The Tas Walking Co Foundation partnered with some exceptional charities and projects in 2023, including Bonorong Wildlife Hospital, WWF Australia and the Regenerate Australia Project. Over twelve stories we bring you inspiring tales of wildlife resilience, community projects and conservation projects that the Tas Walking Co Foundation has supported this year. To kick things off, we share some great news stories from our nine-day sponsorship of Bonorong's Wildlife Hospital which was funded by the generosity of our guests and staff.

Highlights: Over twelve days, meet remarkable creatures like Clyde, the Bennets Wallaby Joey, and Karliah, the Brown Falcon, each overcoming adversity with the unwavering support of Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary. Witness the dedication of the critical care team as they attend to the needs of injured wildlife, from Foxy, the Common Ringtail Possum, to Rio, the Blue-tongue Lizard. Celebrate our partnership with WWF-Australia on day ten, where a $200,000 donation supports projects like hi-tech nest boxes for Greater Gliders in Victoria. Experience the joy of reintroducing the brush-tailed bettongs in South Australia, and conclude the journey with Dean's Tassie Devil Rescue, a touching tale of compassion and commitment to wildlife preservation.
