Rewilding lungtalanana

WWF-Australia's Regenerate Australia is supporting an initiative to rewild lungtalanana, an island in the Bass Strait, by reintroducing lost species and revitalising its ecosystem.

Tasmanian 24-Hour Wildlife Rescue

Bonorong Wildlife Hospital provides care and rehabilitation to wildlife that are sick, injured, or orphaned. Our fundraisers support the 24 hour emergency rescue service.

Greater Glider Project

120 high-tech nest boxes, designed to mimic tree hollows, were strategically deployed across Victoria, offering vital support in the face of habitat loss as part of WWF-Australia's Regenerate Australia program.

Brush-tailed Bettong Program

WWF-Australia's Regenerate Australia program is supporting the re-introduction of the once-extinct Brush-tailed Bettong to the South Australian mainland.

Tas Walking Co Guide Dave Lennon started takayna 300 to help protect takayna / tarkine and one day see it returned to the palawa people of lutruwita as a world heritage protected national park.

Conserving Ancient Wonders

We set out on an Overland Track expedition to help the Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens. We achieved the urgent goal of mapping and collecting seeds from the montane species of endemic, vulnerable and threatened native conifers.

Wild Futures Weeding Program

Conservation Volunteers Australia invested 108 hours in skilled weed control practioners on Kangaroo Island to protect native plants.

The Firesticks Project

WWF-Australia's Regenerate Australia program is supporting the Firesticks Project which contributes to the development of Indigenous cultural fire management capacity in Australia’s southeast.

Kangaroo Island Bushfire Appeal

Kangaroo Island’s infrastructure, wildlife and terrain were decimated by bushfires in January 2020 including 96 per cent of world-renowned Flinders Chase National Park.

WIRES Bushfire Appeal

Small acts of heroism saved many animals lives during the 2020 Australian bushfires. Obi was rescued from one of the most intense blazes to hit New South Wales. The wombat joey suffered burns on his back and two injured legs.

Victoria Wildlife

Wildlife Victoria Bushfire Appeal

Wildlife Victoria’s Emergency Response team receives 80,000 requests for help annually and assists over 50,000 animals. The service gives the public somewhere to call every time they find a distressed sick, injured or orphaned native animal.

The Carbon Neutral Group has planted over 29 million trees and leads Australia’s largest revegetation project based on carbon capture and biodiversity - The Yarra Yarra Biodiversity Corridor.

Raptor Refuge Program

Raptor Refuge provide rehabilitation for sick and injured raptors. With a shared philosophy toward education, our partnership with Raptor Refuge extends to Tasmanian Walking Company’s guide training programs providing an education resource.

Tasmanian Aboriginal Guide Training Program

Learning interpretive and educational skills enables aboriginal guide trainees to share knowledge of Tasmania's heritage with visitors. The program was developed with The Aboriginal Land Council of Tasmania and provides a recognised qualification.
